World Bank supported projects
1.
Public Prosecutor's Manual
Office of the attorney General has prepared a draft
of Public Prosecutor's Manual with the support of
World Bank. The draft manual for public prosecutors
has been prepared by a consultant Professor Rajeet
Bhakta Pradhananga. The manual will be a guidebook
for all public prosecutors and government attorneys
for their day-to-day job.
The
draft 'Public Prosecutors Manual' is being reviewed
for a final approval and publication. Advocate Gunanidhi
Neupaney, has been appointed to review and suggest
necessary modification and arrangement in the manual.
2.
Training Need Assessment (TNA)
Attorney General Office is in the process of conducting
Trainig Need Assisment (TNA) within pubic prosecutors.
The program is supported by the World Bank and appointed
three experts Advocate Kishor Silwal, Advocate Ashish
Adhikari, and Advocate Sudip Paudel. The team will
suggest Attorney General Office about the appropriate
areas and subjects for training to the public prosecutors
and government attorneys in future.
B. USAID, ARD- Rule
of Law project supported program
Strategic plan of the Attorney
General Office
Attorney General Office with the support of USAID,
ARD- Rule of Law project has prepared its five years
Strategic The Strategic Plan will be a supportive
document for organization development and capacity
building of public prosecutors. Research, Organizational
Development and Planning Division at Attorney General
Office is now in the process of finalizing year plan
and program for each fiscal year in accordance with
the guidelines suggested by the strategic plan.
