Brief Introduction of Appellate Government Attorney
Offices In different Region.
There
are sixteen Appellate Government Attorney Offices
throughout the country. The Appellate Government
Attorney Offices are situated in the place where
Appellate Courts are established. These Offices
in geographical sense are known as regional offices.
The Appellate Government Attorney Offices has jurisdiction
on more than two District Government Attorney Offices
that looks after the cases of trial courts (District
Court).
There
is one Appellate Government Attorney (Joint Secretary
Level) two Deputy Government Attorney (Deputy Secretary
Level) and two Assistant Attorney Officers (Officer
Level) in every Appellate Government Attorney Office
deputed by the Judicial Council where Attorney
General is a member. The Government Attorney has
two major functionary powers, as delegated by the
Attorney General under Constitutional provision.
First, they shall provide legal opinion to the regional
level government offices their officers and any
legal authority. Second, they shall represent themselves
as government lawyer before Appeal Court to plead
and defend every government cases for the shake
of Justice and Rule of Law.
